Proximity to healthcare, accessible amenities, walkability, and a strong sense of community all become key factors when choosing the right neighborhood. Whether you're a senior looking to downsize or a family helping a parent make their next move, the capital region is filled with several great choices for your consideration. We’ll share some of our favourites in our upcoming blog posts - starting with the City of Edmonton!

Edmonton has several neighborhoods that cater beautifully to the needs of older adults, it really is a world-class city. Here are just a few of our favourite senior-friendly neighborhoods in Edmonton based on access to services, housing options, and community feel:

Downtown and Whyte Ave are both easily accessible if you want to play in the heart of the Edmonton action.
